Summary
Due to a weak heart, Suzune Miyama had been bedridden for most of her childhood. Despite this, she had always dreamed of becoming an idol. Then, she got the opportunity of a lifetime in the form of the seventh Selection Project, a series of brutal competitions that was the starting point of the legendary idol Akari Amasawa.
Excited yet anxious, Suzune entered the preliminary round of Selection Project. She sang beautifully, but her nerves got the best of her and she stumbled in the middle of her performance. This caused her to lose the winning spot and be disqualified.
However, Seira Kurusu, the girl Suzune had lost to, announced that she was dropping out of Selection Project. She believed that Suzune was a more talented singer and deserved the chance to compete. Suzune was taken aback by the decision and promised Seira that they would meet again as top idols. She was determined to take on the challenging obstacles ahead.
