Summer break is coming to an end, and Nishikata is excited to put his newest pranks to the test and finally outwit his classmate Takagi. Despite his losing streak, he's starting to understand her clever ways. He soon realizes that her teasing may not be for the reasons he first thought. What's certain, though, is that their days of strategizing and competing are bringing them closer than ever.
