Akane Kinoshita, a college student, is left heartbroken after her boyfriend leaves her for someone he met online. Seeking solace and revenge, Akane immerses herself in "Forest of Savior," the same MMO game she once enjoyed with her ex. Her adventures lead her to open up about her feelings to a fellow guild member, "Yamada," who responds with disinterest. Determined to confront her past, Akane transforms herself and attends an offline gaming event, only to encounter the indifferent Yamada once more in an unexpected twist of fate.
