Sasaki to Pii-chan

Sasaki's mundane life as a middle-aged corporate worker takes an unexpected turn when he adopts a Java sparrow from a local pet shop. Named Peeps, or Pii-chan, this little bird is no ordinary pet but a reincarnated powerful mage from another world. Thrust into a new reality where magic exists, Sasaki is gifted with abilities and the chance to travel between worlds. Inspired by his new companion, he starts a unique venture, selling modern technological goods in the mage’s less advanced world, finding both profit and adventure.

However, his dual life complicates when he saves a woman from danger, only to discover she is Hoshizaki, a government agent monitoring individuals with supernatural abilities. Reluctantly recruited into a secret agency, Sasaki now navigates missions to apprehend other gifted individuals while managing tensions in a foreign world on the brink of war. With his magical sparrow by his side, Sasaki transforms from a disillusioned office worker into an unexpected hero, straddling the fine line between mundane reality and magical realms.
