Fifteen years ago, a hyperspace gate appeared over the Pacific Ocean, linking Earth to the alternate world of Reto Semaani, home to fairies, demons, and other mythical beings. San Teresa City, situated on the fictional Pacific island of Kariaena, has since become a bustling metropolis where over two million immigrants from both worlds coexist. However, this cultural melting pot also harbors a dark side, with rampant crime including drugs, prostitution, and weapon trafficking.

Detective Kei Matoba, a former JSDF soldier, is one of the best cops in the San Teresa City Police, known for his no-nonsense approach. After losing his partner in a failed fairy trafficking case, Kei is paired with Tilarna Exedilika, a noble knight from the Farbani Kingdom. Despite their differences in gender, personality, and world of origin, the unlikely duo must work together to rescue a kidnapped fairy and bring justice to the chaotic streets of San Teresa.
