When Tetsuo Tosu, a humble salaryman, learns of his daughter Reika's physical abuse by her yakuza-connected boyfriend, Nobuto Matori, he is propelled into action to save her. His intervention escalates quickly, resulting in Nobuto's death—a desperate move to protect his family. With the help of his wife, Kasen, they cover up the incident, but the disappearance of Nobuto does not go unnoticed by his dangerous associates.

As the crime syndicate begins to probe Nobuto’s sudden vanishing, Tetsuo and Kasen find themselves embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Each day brings new challenges as they strive to keep Reika safe and out of the syndicate's radar, all while dealing with the moral and emotional repercussions of their actions.
