Summary
Joutarou Aragaki was on top of the world as a gymnast, but his career was cut short by a shoulder injury after his wife's death. Five years later, he's still trying to reach his peak performance, but his hard work isn't yielding any results. His coach, Noriyuki Amakusa, suggests that he retire.
Joutarou takes a trip with his nine-year-old daughter, Rei, to explain his decision. But the vacation takes an unexpected turn when they meet a strange self-proclaimed ninja named Leonardo. He follows them home and attempts to sway Joutarou from retiring.
Leonardo has faith in Joutarou's abilities and wants to see him perform in the gymnastics world again. Joutarou takes up the challenge and announces that he's not retiring. He's determined to prove that he belongs in the sport.
