Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san

Kiyo and Sumire had a dream of becoming maiko and that's why they moved to Kyoto from Aomori Prefecture. But things didn't go as planned and Kiyo started living and working at the Maiko House as a cook. The story follows their journey in the Kagai district, the Geiko and maiko area of Kyoto, and their housemate maikos.

Kiyo nourishes everyone with her homemade meals and Sumire works hard to become the once-in-a-century maiko. The audience gets to see the glamorous Kagai and the heartwarming anecdotes behind the scenes, as well as Kiyo's kitchen episodes. The story of two childhood friends, who are supporting and growing together, will surely touch your heart.
