Vanitas no Carte Part 2

Vanitas and Noé Archiviste set off to Gévaudan in search of the "Beast," a giant wolf-like creature that has killed hundreds. They believe it to be a cursed vampire, and Vanitas plans to use his grimoire to cure it. However, they become separated and travel back in time to the moment the Beast appears. After a battle with the Beast and a vampire hunter, Vanitas joins forces with Jeanne, who was sent to kill the Beast, suspecting it could be someone she used to know.

Noé is found by the mysterious Chloé d'Apchier and her servant. Chloé is a vampire whose existence has been erased from the public. She has been guarding future generations and once tried to find a way to become human again. Noé is thankful for her hospitality, but has no idea that she could be aligning with forces much more dangerous than the Beast.
