Summary
The legendary Hero-King Inglis had devoted his life to statecraft and the well-being of his people, but upon his deathbed, he longed to live again as a warrior. His wish was heard by his patron goddess, Alistia, who sent his soul into the future.
Inglis awoke as the daughter of a minor noble family, and determined to master the blade. At her first coming-of-age ceremony, she was deemed ineligible to begin her knighthood. But this was not a setback for the ambitious Inglis. She declared: "It's not the blood that runs through your veins that makes a knight; it's the blood you shed on the battlefield!"
